Account and App Data We Collect

  • Account data: name, email address, Firebase user ID, and account/subscription status.
  • App and device data: TuneUP version, build number, device model, iOS version, language/region, and app session identifier.
  • Usage and diagnostics: app launches, scan/cleanup interactions, and summary statistics such as item counts and total space recovered.
  • Purchase data: Apple App Store transaction and subscription information is associated with the account identifier through RevenueCat to verify and manage Pro access. TuneUP never receives your card details.

Photos and Contacts

  • Photos and videos are processed on-device to identify similar or cleanable items and are not uploaded to OGW Studio servers.
  • Contacts are processed on-device to identify duplicate or incomplete entries and, with user approval, match email senders to address-book records. Contact contents are not sent to our servers.
  • You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Mail and Google Drive

  • Gmail and Google Drive access is used only within the OAuth permissions granted by the user, communicating directly with Google APIs to provide scanning and cleanup features.
  • Email bodies, attachments, and Drive file contents are not sent to OGW Studio telemetry or servers. Scan results are retained only in account-scoped caches on the device.
  • IMAP account passwords and access tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain and scoped to the corresponding TuneUP account.
  • You can revoke TuneUP's access from your Google Account security settings at any time.

Service Providers

  • Google Firebase: authentication, account data, and app telemetry.
  • Google OAuth, Gmail, and Drive APIs: mail and Drive features explicitly connected by the user.
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and subscription management.
  • RevenueCat: purchase validation, subscription status, paywalls, and customer center.

Purposes and Tracking

Data is processed to create and secure accounts, provide app functionality, manage Pro access, diagnose issues, and measure product performance. TuneUP for iOS does not track users across third-party apps or websites, sell personal data, or create behavioral advertising profiles.
